What We Believe

Who We are

We believe that God is glorious beyond comprehension. Out of the overflow of His Fatherly love, He created humanity to know Him and enjoy Him forever. Sadly, however, each of us has rebelled against God and placed ourselves at the center of our lives. The Bible calls this rebellion “sin.” But the good news is that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into our broken world to live a perfect life and pay the penalty for our sin. God raised Jesus from the dead, conquering sin and death forever. God did all this not because we deserved it, but because He is infinitely gracious. If you turn from your sin and trust in Jesus Christ, you will be totally forgiven, transformed from the inside out, and enjoy a never-ending relationship with your Heavenly Father. As a church, we exist to help you grow in this relationship in a loving, grace-filled community.

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church*,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
